Storrie's case adjourned until April

Peter Storrie appeared before the crown court today, as Milan Mandaric and Harry Redknapp will next month, on his charge of tax evasion.

The BBC reports that he said nothing apart from confirming his name with the case adjourned, without a plea entered, until April 15th - when he WILL make his guilty or non guilty plea - with him given 'unconditional bail' until the court date.

I guess I have to be careful about what I say but THREE people, all with Pompey connections, ALL being charged with various tax issues is an 'unfortunate coincidence' isn't it, the fact that PFC is in a dreadful state also adds backing to the thoughts that people with long-term connections to PFC have contributed to actions that have seriously impacted on us...

This seems to be the result of another tax fiddle where the people on PS's sort of income wriggle their way out of paying their way in this country.

great isn't it... we're going to court to argue against the £7.5m we owe and who steps up to give evdience but this joker....for god's sake... shakespeare or corrie couldn't come up with it... he's a vampire too - no really... money isnt the only thing he sucks at

In my opinion this is the culmination of over 2 years investigation into 3 persons. The CPS/Police/HMRC could not justify 26 months of effort with no outcome could they? It just happens to be that they were associated with our club at the time!!! INNOCENT until proved guilty guys, but I am fully aware of the old, no smoke without fire rule !

I'm fully aware of the basis of UK justice - it's just ironic that Storrie should be arguiing against POmpey's tax bill (guilty or otherwise). and it's true the authorities can be just as incompetent as Pompey's ex-managing board.

Couldn't he just 'evade' Fratton Park and resign. Tosspot!!!

The adjournement was only to be expected and will happen to Milan and Harry.

I could suggest a few things to happen to Harry.... nothing but love for Milan
