Judgement day

Judgement day

Today is the day ladies and gentlemen...

A high court judgement, for our appeal on the winding-up petition issued over the allegation of unpaid taxes - which the club is disputing the amount of - is expected to be delivered at around 10.30am.

If in favour of PFC, and I do not know if the time being taken is good or bad, then this winding-up petition would be dropped and more time to sort out these tax issues given, if against PFC it goes before the court early in February and unpaid taxes 'could' see us forced into administration?

The club, well Mark Jacob anyway, will also meet with the premier league today - apparently - as lifting the transfer embargo is again discussed, along with the payment of the £2m worth of TV money that was withheld!

If a satisfactory conclusion cannot be reached then the dispute between the club and the premier league is expected to b settled by arbitration, so an independent 3rd party would rule on this...

Judgement Day makes it sounds like a Terminator movie (lol).. So Pompey are positive of a result in our favour from the court.. Surely if we get that the Premier League must follow suit.. Well you'd hope so anyway.. fingers crossed for a good few days.. Today the court.. tomorrow the embargo lifted.. Thursday we sign Steven Gerrard

We will be back! do do, do do do (that's the terminator music bit from the film for any who have not guessed). Why 10:30, that means I will now have to sit around for an hour and a half worrying! Plus then it will undoubtably be late!

No we don't want Gerrard he's always injured and getting on a bit now (lol). I think the best we can hope for will be a coupe of loan deals or some more foreigners that Avram has got on his radar. Lets just hope all goes well and the PL lift this embargo. Is is interesting that if the rumours are true about being offered monies for Belhadj, Kaboul, Nugent and James at even knock down rates would bring us in about £14m, then if we are in such a bad staet would we not be snapping the arms off of teams who want to buy?? Or just maybe there is something in the pipeline and we can afford to either hang on and not sell or hold out for what we feel the players true worth really is?? lets just hope its the latter

What's the betting these decisions will be put off once again - this is the real world after all, and things turn very very slowly. And on that cheerful note .... PUP.

Fingers crossed, as Messrs Storrie, Redknapp and Mandaric will testify the HMRC can be an unforgiving bunch. Close your eyes and wake up about 11am, the garden could be a whole lot rosier come that time.

reading through this lots is making me smile if nothing else. I started off with terminator music, swiftly moved on to Death march, onto Tulips from Amsterdam lol (Dont ask me why that came into my head, but i think its Bluedr saying about gardens and rosier times lol In spring again, i see again... tulips from amsterdam lol)... forgive me, it must be a feeling in me waters that 10:30 is d-day and H-Hour, or maybe just my age :-(

Sorry me again, lol... I just had a thought, Mark Jacobs and Max Bygraves (He sung that song for our younger fans lol), could both use the same catch phrase... "I Wanna Tell You a Story... "
