Bye, bye Jamie?

Bye, bye Jamie?

'Spurs will recall Jamie O'Hara so we will not see him again in a Pompey shirt', not my vote, yours - although these findings from pompeyrug's poll are thoughts I would probably agree with to be honest...

We have seen a Pompey spokesman apparently tell BBC Radio Solent this week that the premier league had agreed to extending the loan deal, which we would do if an agreement could be met with Spurs - something that was later denied by the premier league with it meaning he returns to Spurs when his loan end, which would be to all intent and purpose after the Fulham game this weekend, if that even goes ahead?

There seems to be no signs of the transfer embargo being lifted anytime soon, so it would seem as though we have seen O'Hara for the last time at Fratton anyway, at least in a Pompey shirt...

  • What the poll asked - Will we see O'Hara play for Pompey again?

  • How you voted - Nope, Spurs will recall him 41%, Yep, against Fulham next weekend 24%, Time will tell... 22%, Yep, we will work something out 13%

Before we move on what are your thoughts on what the last poll concluded? You know what to do, thoughts below please guys...

yes Adzi, we did, he's not the most skilled player in the world but his effort is just 110% never stops running, never stops trying and for that he quickly became a fan's favourite and rightly so imo. class player and i'll be sorry to see him go, and i know we like him but i think we got bigger problems than midfield atm, like a striker who can score lol

Its a shame, Jamie going to you guys has been great for him and he seems to be coming on a lot. And if you believe the papers, he could end up lining up against you FOR Fulham....

I haven't been completely caught up in the OHara worshipping, I think his deaball skills leave a lot to be desired, but his commitment on the pitch and willingness to get about although sometimes uncontrolled was clear and an example to some. Ultimately we don't have enough of a squad or skill level and we need him.

Got to say I have some sympathy with russell's views. Jamie is far from the finished article but is better and more creative than the rest of our midfield.

O'Hara might not exactly be Diarra but the alternatives include Mullins, Hughes and Mokoena. Nuff said
