'If It's Football, It's Vital'

O'Hara not free to stay/Bhasera still wanted

This time yesterday Jamie O'Hara looked as though he was staying with Pompey - well, that was the 'claims' made on the BBC from an apparent Pompey spokesman who said the premier league had agreed to letting us extend his loan...

Later these claims were denied and we were left back at square one again - with some 'reports' even 'claiming' that Spurs had, or where on the verge of recalling him.

O'Hara himself, speaking to sky sports news, is none the wiser as to what is going on but knows he could end up playing somewhere else: 'I don't know what the whole situation is so I'm just trying to wait and see what happens.

'I mean obviously it's up on the 15th so once I know then we can try and sort something out but I think there's a clause in it where Tottenham maybe want me to go to three clubs and if Portsmouth can't do it then maybe I'll be going elsewhere.'

His is disappointed with the situation as he wants to play football, as he has here and ideally hopes to stay with us: 'I'm disappointed obviously. I've been doing really well here, I'm enjoying my football so obviously I don't want to go back and not play.

'But I mean we are going to see what happens in the next week or so and hopefully something can get sorted out.'

'Yeah of course (he wants to stay), I mean obviously I'm enjoying my football and I want to help Portsmouth get out of relegation.'

As for Onismor Bhasera, he still remains a player that we want but after several months we are still no nearer a conclusion on this. Not that we could sign him anyway, could well?

Although with a 'deal' said to have been agreed in September as this was before the embargo was in place if a resolution is found between the player and his club/former club and Fifa maybe we can...

And finally, not that it was a surprise, so I AM surprised that so many areas of the media made it out to be such - the latest premier league TV money will be paid straight to clubs that we owe money, and not to the club. This makes sense anyway does it not?

Being following this all morning. Jamie wants to stay and the PL keep changing their mind. As at 14:30 players still not paid!

Well its good that he wants to stay, thats one step to keeping him. Just hope it all works out in the end.

And Storrie says "players might have to get sold" which is like saying "Peter Storrie might be a dodgy dealing b******"

If we can only have one player this January within our reach, make it Jamie. He has the sort of fight we need for our very slim hopes of staying up.

Thiswhole Jamie O'hara saga has been on and off more times than Danielle Lloyds knickers

Come to think of it so has the Onismor Bhasera saga too .. although I might liken that to Abi Titmus .... a bit longer and not as classy ...

I am going to give up hoping for good things to happen to Pompey. I think it must have all run out when we won the cup, as everytime it sounds like something might be about to go right, it gets worse!

At least we are sure that some £7 million will be paid since the FA will be taking care fo that. Can the FA take care of all our financial dealings? We would be better off. As for Jamie, we have heard so many different things. I will believe nothing untill is 100% official.

shocking state of affairs - wrong time to ask when our cash for GJ will be paid I suppose :-)
