O'Hara free to stay?

O'Hara free to stay?

That old favourite 'reached a deal in principle' has been rolled out by a Pompey spokesman to BBC Radio Solent regarding Jamie O'Hara and his loan stay with Pompey.

'If' the club can 'reach an agreement' with Spurs on the extension of his loan it is 'said' that the premier league have granted us permission to keep him until the end of the season...

Portsmouth cleared to keep Spurs' Jamie O'Hara - here.

This same 'report' also confirmed that the premier league have made it clear that under Fifa rules, as many of us have suspected, Kevin-Prince Boateng CANNOT play for another club this season.

One player, if 'reports' are correct, that is closing in on a move away from Fratton is Younes Kaboul who is 'said' to be in talks with Lyon...

here, here.... It will benefit Tottenham and Portsmouth with O'Hara staying for 6 more months. Plus he plays good...

Hang on just one minute....this strongly resembles GOOD news? I'd forgotten what that looks like... I would not be surprised if Jamo goes the other way though (nor would I care much, as he's been running to the papers about a move, and Begovic is looking a good 'un anyway).

Kaboul to Lyon? Isn't that the club taking us to court for non payment? Kaboul used as a payment maybe????

Oh go on yiddo, do us a favour. His wages are far too much for the amount of playing time we're getting this season. Bluedr - Belhadj used to play for Lyon but we signed him from Lens, the club who are reportedly trying to sue us. Incidentally Lens are also the club Chelsea poached Kakuta from, thus receiving a ban from Fifa in future transfer windows. Apparently they're also in financial trouble.

No blue, Lens are taking us to court, but you may never know what is behind the scenes. Maybe Lens owe money to Lyon and they are using Kaboul to clear themselves. Just guessing.

Don't think O'hara will be ""FREE"" to stay - it'll cost us ! Also, lets not loose Kaboul to Lyon as payment for a much less rated player FFS ! PUP - more good news please

Good News about O'Hara and Boateng.. can't really see Kaboul wanting to take a step back to the French League unless they are still in the champions League.. hang on I'll check ..

Hopefully useless utaka will go; that's the one we really need to offload even with no fee it will save .92m off the wage bill. Good news that kpb is staying, even better if he learns to pass more often! I think Jamo will go as an off set against monies owed to spurs and as part of OHara staying but it there won't be anything left to pay the taxman cos of Jamo's age.

Come on Janice you know it makes sense.. STAY !!
