Everton 'considering a move' for Freddy P?

Everton 'considering a move' for Freddy P?

It is not just players that we own that could be in danger of moving on this month, 'according' to a 'report' in The Mail Freddy P is attracting some premier league interest as well...

We have a season long loan deal agreed with Lyon, and this shows no sign of 'collapsing' just yet, although the 'claims' are that Everton are 'considering a move' for the striker should this happen.

It is also 'claimed' that Blackburn, Liverpool and Villa are also 'interested' in Freddy, with some 'sounded out' to see if they would be interested in him...

I would not put too much faith in this being true, although with Pompey these days you never know!

Freddy has started coming into some top form recently, but I am not convinced that this form would be enough to interest Liverpool or Villa to be honest, perhaps Everton and Blackburn though?

All being well nothing will fall through on this deal though and he will stay until the summer, as arranged...

Agree that he has been a lot perkier recently but form is temporary, class is permanent and I ain't seen TOO much of the latter from him. Admittedly, he's shown more spirit and good attitude recently which is about all we can hope for really.

Not sure how the loan system works really! can they take him off us? would they have to approach his parent club or us?

Hes just got into form and could score a few more cruical goals for us season. So i'm hoping he doesn't go, i think he will be a key assent to Pompey this season if he can get into a scoring run.

I think that if Kaboul is going to Lyon, Freddy will become ours. Then we may sell him. That is the way we will work it out.

Funny that Malta .. I had the very same thought .. There must be a pre-loan price agreement in place say £1m .. We sell then Kaboul for £7m plus Freddy .. then we sell Freddy for £2m .. makes sense to me .. although how we then defend or attack is anybodies guess..... Ben Haim as our lynch pin and Utaka as our goalscorer ...

Evans - Right back or right midfield?

Drew Talbot and Adam Buxton are fit but Gareth Evans continues to fill in at right back. Should this change? If so where would it leave the battle between Evans and Carl Baker?
