Lets hope he is right!

Lets hope he is right!

What does the wonderful world of Mark Lawrenson, the so-called BBC's 'expert pundit', have to offer us this week? Lets see...

Looking at his column on BBC Sport, Lawro's predictions - here, I see that the 'football expert' is on for a hat-trick - he was right that we would be beaten by Stoke and Manyoo, 'if' we beat Burnley, as he thinks, then that will be 3 right on the spin!

Despite, and to be fair rightly so, saying that we need 'five chances to score a goal' Lawro believes that 'even Portsmouth' will win this one.

This is what he said: 'I have to be honest and say I don't think this is a game that Portsmouth can afford to lose. I realise that's a big shout when we're only in early December, but if Burnley go there and win this weekend that's game over for Portsmouth in my eyes.

'With that in mind, and the fact Burnley have been all over the shop on the road, even Portsmouth, who need five chances to score one goal, will fancy this one.

'Verdict: 2-0'

Well the man speaks the truth this week, if we cannot win tomorrow then it is game over - the latest 'must win' game REALLY is the biggest of biggest must wins games!

What do we think guys?

Omg, didnt think he would predict. But even when he thinks we will win, he always assults us in some way. In this case by saying 'even Portsmouth, who need five chances to score one goal, will fancy this one' I dont think he really likes us, you see him and his football focus makes at FP last week, slagging us off for not having a great ground.

Anyone know who is in goal yet? Begovic didn't have a good game on Tuesday - if he plays again, I can't see a clean sheet. That means we need to create 10 chances to score twice.

I'm not Lawros biggest fan, but you can't argue with his point of view this week. Lose and we're down, Draw and we're down. Win and, well, we might just persuade some idiot to stump up some more cash !!!!!!! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha..............that's it, I've had my breakdown !!!! PUP

My 13 year old son has only seen one game this season, Wigan. Hope he continues his 100% receord tomorrow. If we do win he also has tickets for Fulham(a) & Arsenal(h), hopefully social services wont take him away for inflicting mental cruelty on him!!

Having attended the Man U and Villa games I now have an awful feeling that it was only Paul Hart that was managing to keep this shambles going. We will find out tomorrow!

At the end of the day guys, nobody knows who's gonna win a game until that final whistle blows. Everybody has been going on about Burnley being crap on the road, but forget that they've scored a few in their travels. It only takes one. We've just got to get our finger out and score more than they do. Who's gonna do it, God only knows. PUP though, I'm going to very nervous tomorrow.

Just one flaw in his theory. If we need 5 chances to score, why was it not us with the 4 goals v Man U ? We had 20 shots on and off target!
