Time to start doing what you are paid to do...

Time to start doing what you are paid to do...

D'oh! Although having said that they are NOT actually being paid, but you know what I mean!

Pompey strikers, and I am not just talking Aruna Dindane - even if he might be the biggest culprit - can we see more of this from you guys...

And less of this...

Against Burnley this weekend please!

Too much more of the latter - frustration at misses - which is of course the shocker against Spurs that is also the image used for this article, and not enough of the former - goal celebrations, is what is ultimately costing us and if it carries on relegation is a dead cert...

Guys it is time to prove that you are strikers, although most are probably forwards - as they are not out and out strikers - and start scoring the goals to claw us up the table.

We could arguably have doubled our points total, at least, by now had we taken more of these chances, as it is we are left to rue these misses. Enough of 'getting into good positions' and missing, lets get into them and score too!

Maybe it's a ploy they get their money when they get a result!

Yeah....just one more than the opposition, that's all we need. It doesn't need to be a bucket full. Just one goal extra....surely that's possible, isn't it???

Can't fault Dindane workrate and he creates the opportunities.. All he needs to do is put his boots on the right feet .. I reckon he'll partner Kanu tomorrow and the King will supply the ammo for Aruna to grab another hat-ful... Here's hoping!

I think we have a good chance to win,but it will all be down to us putting away chances made and keeping our defense solid. This is a must win game for us lets get behind them and get the three points. I would try Dindane- Smith Utaka. Might work!

Hartlepool (a) - Safety first!

A win at Wimbledon made sure of a play-offs place. Technically we can finish in the top 3 but this would require an unlikely set of results from too many clubs wouldn't it?
