'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Nice one Younes

A sneaky little 'rumour' that had crept under the radar was one 'linking' Younes Kaboul with a return to France with Lille.

Sky sports said 'reports emanating from France have suggested Lille are keen on signing the former Auxerre ace as they look to bolster their defensive ranks,' this has been quickly dismissed though.

Younes himself might not have said anything but his 'representative' Rudy Raba has told sky that it is a load of old...rubbish: 'there is no chance of Younes joining Lille.

'Younes is very happy at Portsmouth and they are happy with him.'

Take away the words 'they are very happy with him' and replace them with 'the fans love him' and that would be about right!

Hopefully the clubs desire to keep him is strong enough for them to continue to be as happy to keep him as we would want them too...

the top one, i agree dave, which - for me - makes it all the more worrying when janaury comes round, 'assets' that attract interest will be off, and i can see younes as being one of that would be very much interesting others...
