Pompey man of the match against Manyoo

'Kevin-Prince Boateng was the man of the match against Manyoo', not my vote, yours - although these findings from pompeyrug's poll are thoughts I agree with...

Again, as so often has been the case this season, most had good games with some really standing out from the crowd with the guys that finished in the top 3 in this poll worthy of this for me.

I feel that Wilson continues to grow with each game that passes, whereas you know what you will get from Jamie O'Hara, who had another fantastic game but the pick of the bunch was Boateng who was at the heart of just about everything.

At times perhaps he needs to think about another pass than a shot, that said if he has the confidence to go for it why not I guess? I think that some need to get onto his wavelength a little more though, but this is coming.

  • What the poll asked - Man of the match against Manyoo?

  • How you voted - Boateng 44%, O'Hara 31%, Wilson 13%, Begovic 4%, Kaboul 2%, Yebda (78) 2%, Piquionne (62) 2%, Sub - Utaka (78) 2%, Sub - Smith (81) 0%, Brown 0%, Dindane (81) 0%, Sub - Kanu (62) 0%, Hreidarsson 0%, Ben-Haim 0%

Before we move on what are your thoughts on what the last poll concluded? You know what to do, thoughts below please guys...

Can't disagree with that. Interestingly the Monday press ratings give Kaboul and Wilson higher figures than Vidic and Brown!!

Had a good game but I felt O'Hara out shone KPB ... but by far our best two players of the match/month/season so far ..

I thought Giggs was a great example to everyone although Dean ran him a close 2nd for the overall man of the match. Again poor refereeing, excellent away goalkeeper, bad luck but mainly our inability to put the ball in the back of the net was our undoing.

I thought that Giggs was absolutely sublime. Agree with the results. I thought, as seems did most of the reports I've read, that we were better than 1-4! Don't see how Fletcher was still on the pitch after the dust up in the centre circle - not even booked!!! Hey ho - Bring on Burnley ....

Yeah....you've got to admit Giggs @ 36 has still got it in abundance. Superb player. Wouldn't be averse to him retiring at Pompey...lol! KBP certainly shone for me but so did O'Hara...not a lot to choose between them really. What would we be without them...it's frightening to think about.

I thought O'Hara was by some margin our best player. As for Giggs...What is let to say? Genius!!
