Pompey to begin D'Alessandro Talks

D'Alessandro has pleaded with Pompey to let him stay next year after enjoying his time on the south coast.

A club record fee will have to be paid to land him on a permanent basis but D'Alessandro said: 'I am really happy.

'I have achieved what I set out to do when I arrived. I would like to stay.'

Portsmouth will open talks over the player with his club next Monday as Pompey try and reduce the 5.5 million buy out clause in the loan deal.

Another reason why we need Harry to stay. He has worked his magic on this lad, as he arrived with NO intention of ever staying. But he has been won round and now wants a permanent move. Unlike other clubs, we made most of our signings in the January Window. I would think if we get Andres, and Routledge, we would only be in the market for a few players in the summer. Therefore the kitty being used on less requirements, means more can be spent on each player. Move Over Arsenal, Its Pompey that'll be challenging Chelsea, Liverpool and Man U next season

LOLOLOL. I love your enthusiasm & optimism. D'ale has loved it at pompey and one of the things that have made him want to stay is the crowd, the other is that he absolutely hates it in germany and has fallen out big time with Fach (the coach) and knows if he goes back, he won't get a game anyway. Will be a great signing though and will enable us to get rid of Lua lua. Routledge only came here to get fit after a bad injury. I doubt whether he or spurs will want him to stay with us. Also, as indicated elsewhere, we really NEED to sign 3-4 top class defenders, and get in a defensive coach who knows what he's doing before we can even think about mid table obscurity. So long as he has a hole in his backside, H.R. will never manage a side that will challenge the present quintet.

LOL, OK. We will. And i guess you have many more years in you to wait than i have. When any premiership clubs managers chair has become vacant, that there is always one name that is mentioned to take over? Either by the supporters or the clubs themselves? Ever wondered why, after he felt he needed a holiday (sic) that the only team that wanted him was scum and Woopert 'the duck shooter' Lowe? I wonder !!

I think we all want the little Argie to stay, it would be well worth the payout. A Seasoned Striker must be on the agenda as well as the gaps to be plugged in defence. Midfield stacks up well as is. Any Birmingham players for sale ?....going cheap.
