1948 - the Golden Jubilee game when Pompey announced through President Field Marshall Bernard Montgomery that they were going to win the league championship - and they did. I think it was also the first time they wore red socks. PS I wasn't there.

The only game I did see was Doncaster at home. Wolves away 2-8 is another story!!

Is it just me, or is Thursday 27 November 2008, conspicuous by its absence? Can't beive they've left out one of the best nights at Fratton Park.
