Grant offered the job?

Grant offered the job?

It is not going to come as a shock in the least if Avram Grant is appointed as the new Pompey manager is it?

Well, according to ESPN Soccernet 'sources' have told them that Grant has indeed been offered the job and is thinking it over...

Grant offered Pompey job - here

Apparently Darren Ferguson 'is not' under any consideration for the position though, and never has been despite 'reports' saying he was.

This 'so called source' is 'said' to have told them: 'there will be a board meeting on Thursday and I would expect an appointment to be made then or on Friday at the latest. I really cannot see any name in the frame other than Avram. I have no idea where Darren Ferguson's name came from, and I can see the bookies have made him favourite, but it is not something that has been suggested.

'The new owners brought Avram here in case results didn't go well and, the last two games, the team were back into a losing streak. It comes a point where you have got to act, otherwise you end up with the West Brom syndrome, playing well each week, losing and going down.'

This 'source' also 'confirmed' that Paul Hart is 'thinking' about the job offer he was made, despite us officially announcing yesterday that he turned down this position.

They say he can either accept this, due to a 'clause' in his contract or gets a settlement, although they hope he decides to stay - I would not mind but I just cannot see how he can, or will...

Do we have some sort of deal with ESPN or what - oh yea, we do, right? We seem to be telling them 'lots' of things recently - even if some of these, well maybe most, do not actually seem to be coming off!

Although I would think it is almost 'nailed on' that Grant will, or has been, offered the job - but will he take it?

Ha ha ha ha.....Where do these guys get this stuff? Do they just make it up. Grants got about as much chance of landing the job as I have of dating Kate Moss.... Ridiculous!

So are new CEO mark Jacob has now out manovered the CEO and got his man is charge with the minuium of bad will. Congratulations, first he takes day to day financial control away from PS, now he takes away his manager. They must be waiting until Jan, when the evidence is revealed in pre-trail dis-closure to fire the out of control 100,000 k a month blagger

Corny, I've kissed Kate Moss, dissapointing, you ought to go for Angelina, now she's a great kisser. Unfortunatly, it's going to be AG. isn't it? What a shame I thought we might go for someone really dynamic and exciting to help lift us from all this gloom. Having said that you my kitchen stool was more exciting than PH, so at least AG is a step up. Only thing AG he reminds of an undertaker.

Avram is the exact double of Boss Nass - but he wins football matches ... 50% of them according to his stats.
