Close call, but we were wrong...

'Pompey would beat Stoke', not my vote, yours - although these findings from pompeyrug's poll are thoughts that I did kind of agree with to be honest...

My heart was telling me, as it always does, that Pompey would win, but my head was always telling me Stoke would win this game to tell the truth.

I very, very rarely believe that we will get beaten - not mate who we play - but I told my mates Ken, Richie and Rob prior to the game, whilst having a pint in Stoke, that I thought we would lose, in fact I told them that I thought we would lose and Paul Hart would be sacked this week!

How we lost is another of those mysteries, like so many from this season! And once again I think we have been hard done by, but Stoke scored and we did not, simple as really...

  • What the poll asked - Stoke v Pompey

  • How you voted - Pompey win 40%, Stoke win 39%, Draw 21%

Before we move on what are your thoughts on what the last poll concluded? You know what to do, thoughts below please guys...

Well I voted for Stoke beating us. Trying to see if a bit of reverse psychology would work. So much for my smart-arsed ideas. I'm going for a draw against Man U. That's got to bring about a result..surely.
