Hart on Algerians, embargos and meetings...

Paul Hart has said that he will not know if Nadir Belhadj and Hassan Yebda will be available for selection to face Stoke until he sees them today.

See Harts views on this in this sky sports video below...

He also said 'head case' The Herminator, Hart's words not mine, although he meant this in 'a nice way' has had no reaction to his comeback to training and his ressie outing in the week so far, so he has a chance of featuring on Sunday, although a decision has not yet been made.

Although he said it was 'good' to have him back though, which it is!

Other things that he spoke about in this press conference were AGAIN the transfer embargo and the 'meeting' with Ali Al Faraj.

He said that he was under the impression that the embargo will be lifted 'soon' as it is being 'sorted out': 'we're still dealing with that. I've just been told it will be sorted pretty soon - well, it ranges from pretty soon to just before the deadline.

'I'll wait until I'm told but I know it hasn't been lifted yet.'

Like so many things, and I am not blaming Hart for this as it is not his fault, it is as good as ever, and I mean this sarcastically, to see that the manager is getting kept in the loop so well!

It is funny how the club hierarchy, and I mean several of these figures, say things are getting sorted, of by 'the end of the week,' yet this does not happen! I guess they will be right EVENTUALLY, as 'a week' will end sometime with something actually sorted out...

As for these 'illusive' talks with the owner, Hart says he has held 'preliminary talks' with Al Faraj's 'advisors' with more talks, well at least he hopes more talks will 'take place in the next few weeks' although adding 'I would hope' does not fill me with much confidence, maybe this is what he is hinting at too?

These talks were, AGAIN, happening in the weeks ahead, but certainly by the end of the month, well this month is gradually ebbing away...

Same old story. Poor Hart has to answer this emberassing questions they put in front of him! The best manner in which Hart can answer is by starting to climb up that table.

Whether you're for or against PH surely there can't be any other managers working in such a diabolical environment. It seems that the new owners don't give a toss for him - in fact, he hasn't yet met AF! As PM says he must try to ignore his circumstances and get the team up the table. At least this would give him some pride.

All a bit academic really at the moment though isn't it.... meetings with Mirage & transfer windows that is. Neither is in the here and now and going to effect the squad and our results leading up to Christmas. NB & HY being available to play does though, and I'm hoping they will be in the squad for Stoke.
