F.A. Speak to Harry Redknapp??
FOR LIBEL REASONS I HAVE TO MAKE IT CLEAR TO THE READER THAT THIS MAY NOT BE TRUE
I received an incredible email from a mate of mine in Portsmouth yesterday, who has lots of contacts within the club. He told me Harry would re join Pompey, he told me that Pompey would get a foreign investor and that Dejan would stay.
The email below is exactly how I received it and has not been altered;
Hi Les,
Bit of gossip for you!
Apparently Harry Redknapp’s secretary received a phone call from the F.A wanting to speak to Harry. Obviouslly this could be for a number of different reasons but with the England job vacant….
I’ll let you know if I hear anymore,

All I can add to this is that his odds dropped on one website from 300/1 to 150/1 over night so I’m obviously not the only person aware of this phone call!
I for one think that he would do a fantastic job for England but I wonder whether he would want the England job.
It will be interesting to see if Portsmouth respond to this article but watch this space.

I don't personally see him in the running, but that's not to say he wouldn't do a decent job. I think most of us would prefer him to concentrate on all things Pompey for 2006/2007.

lololol You've got the date wrong les, it was May the 1st yesterday not April the 1st. Anyway mate, i doubt if it went to court they could fine you much for being 'liable'. lololol ;)

The Odds dropped, as Sky were brandishing the idea of Harry all weekend on Sky Sports News, Sky Sports 1 and Then the West Brom Game. Bookies proably looked at it too, and thought its not a rediculous thought hence the odds being halved. Also, Herry is not stupid enough to take the England Job, you have to be a bit nuts to take that job on. Give it to Big Sam, he's perfect, and thats not meant detrimental either.

Not a matter of disbelieving you les, but i reckon the odds of judas getting the England job ashould be more than a million to one. He'sno more gonna get it than the other barrow boy, vegetables.
Apart from the fact he wouldn't take it cos there is no wheeling & dealing involved (wink,wink,nudge,nudge)

You need to move on FEn, can't blame him from moving on under the circumstances, when they changed he came back, what a job he has done for you. Took Saints down and kept you up, he should be a god! I was at the Pompey v Chelsea game, could only get tickets for Pompey end, you lost, but mega impressed with the Pompey fans, great atmosphere for a sh*t ground.

lol chill fen! i don;t blame harry look where he lives! He wanted to stay at portsmouth but when he was forced out and s***ts came in for him, he didn't even have to move home!

All those that say Harry is still a Judas. Can you put your hand on your heart and say you NEver Made a Mistake? Can you also put your hand on your heart, and admit, that if you DID make a Mistake, you were man enough to openly admit you were wrong, and beg forgiveness? If you can, then you are entitled to keep up the Judas and Anti Harry attitude. But If you cant, your a little bit hypocrytical and need to wake up and smell the Coffee. We are still in the Prem, we have a Team to be taken serious, we have a right to think about Europe, and thats all down to Harry. Forgive, Unite and move on... You dont need to forget.

Terence, not wishing to appear condescending to you, but if you read my many posts on the forums, you'll see that i DO indeed give HR all the credit for ewhat happened, and also for what he did to get us in the prem. I have also known him and had deals with him for many years, and i have a personal opinion of him which i will NEVER change. I'll also stand by my claim, that unless he engages top class defensive coaches and buys top class defenders, he will not get us anywhere near a regular european slot.
