Confidence misplaced...
'Pompey would beat Blackburn', not my vote, yours - although these findings from pompeyrug's poll are thoughts that I had shared to be honest...
You cannot win them all can you, although games against the likes of Blackburn are games that we cannot really afford to be losing this season - the better side did win though in all honesty, well at least the side that were showing more intent to win.
In all honesty I would have taken a point, but from the moment we scored I was concerned that we would not hold it, as 'hold it' is what I felt we would try to do - maybe pushing on a little more for another goal was what we needed to do?
Another defeat sees us go into the international break on a low point, next up will be Stoke away - for me we just have to 'go for it', a point, whilst better than a defeat, probably is not enough so I say lets throw caution to the wind! As far as I am concerned I would rather we went for game and got beaten than look to get points and still possibly lose!
We all almost approaching the 'we have nothing to lose' point, so lets just go for it - that said winning homes games and picking up away points could make a difference, so going for it at home could be the way...

I think the worrying thing here is that after 1 win we think we are better then we actually are. To clarify, I also thought we would win against Blackburn so again I have to lower my expectations which currently still believe that we will be relegated this season.

Could just be a blip. The next match will be a good indicator as to whether we're going down or not.

Blackburn aren't a good side. They played some football in the 2nd half, but all goals were conceded because we were asleep. In Malta, that would be called 'fixed', since all the goals were so stupid to concede. How many times this season are we going to concede from corners; and as always, the player who scores is unmarked! Is Mokoena a good leader? Oh, I don't think so! He should be guiding the team.

Must admit to feeling pretty depressed by that game. Apart from the goal, we didn't seem to be at the races. Why an earth we didn't bring on Belhadj after his last display, I just don't know. Also why was Dindane taken off? was he injured. If not...I can't see a reason for it. He was causing BB loads of problems, you could tell that by the way they kept hacking him down.
