Hart on Pompey rout!

Who would have thought it eh?

Paul Hart would be reflecting on the second 'Pompey rout', and not against us, in less than a week following another mauling of an opponent after the 4-0 win over Wigan at Fratton yesterday.

Hart thought that the result, based on the performance that we put in, was one that we had, and have deserved and been threatening for some time in the league. So, it was the least we deserved. He had nothing but praise for all the players but obviously had something more to say about goalscorers Aruna Dindane, the hat trick hero, and Freddy P, who is ok having had to come off injured.

The guy asking Hart the questions said that we 'did not look like a side that belonged in the bottom 3' also asking if he believed if Hart felt 'we would get out of it pretty quickly', Hart would not say he thought this would happen quickly but feels if we continue to follow the instructions given then the points will continue to come and we will get out.

You can see Hart's views on the above and more, including his latest thoughts on the transfer embargo and what the future will bring, in this sky sports video below...

Well, what more can I say?

Not a lot really - watch the video, take it all in and lets see where it takes us.

One word of warning, as good as we were against Wigan - and to be fair have been for some time - they were very poor, so lets not get overly carried away by back-to-back 4-0 wins. They clearly are something to build on, so lets just hope we do. A point at Blackburn next week would be good, a win fantastic!

I haven't been able to watch the vid because of problems with "Flash Player" but fair play to Hart in taking on the crap over the months. It was very much D Day for him yesterday and thankfully we got a result. I've no doubt the media will be waiting for a slip up, but if we continue to take the game to our opponents that are of the same or lower quality than ourselves we will get goals and in turn results. The battle/saga isn't over by any means but we've at least nailed our colours to the mast. More 4-4-2 when it's necessary Harty, and keep up the good work....PUP.

A good rewarding week for a loyal and honest manager and a team of players who constantly play their socks off in the cause. Long may it continue. PUP

Hart has aged ten years overnight. What are they doing to him? I just hope he comes good. He is the sort of man that suits us, lets hope that with Avram by his side we can push on from this positive result and create perhaps a point (or three) at Blackburn and then see from there. (I'm definitely going to Blackburn - never made Hull in the end).

Stylishly done folks. Amazing what a resounding victory in the CC can do for a team's confidence eh? Think you caught Wigan on one of their bad days (they seem to be a bit schizophrenic at the moment), but that can't detract from a thoroughly deserved 3 points.

Gandor.... Hart's not the only one to have aged 10 years overnight I can tell you. Up until recently I didn't have a grey hair in my head. Still, if we can keep putting on shows like yesterday it will certainly lower the stress levels......PUP.

Well said Harty. And well led too - you give them instructions and all the team have to do is carry them out.

Well let's be realistic it was only Wigan on a bad day but winning us a habit and if you took form over the last 5 games we are starting to get some good habits; another 10 wins and I might gave to accept I was wrong about Hart; although I can say I see the influence of the hand of Grant. Saturday night I got hammered in a good way

The 'Hand of Grant'...? Now there's a thought! Thread to start!

True, Wigan were not at their best, but you have to consider that we didn't even give them any time to settle down. This mentality is very fruitful; when you go down attacking from the very first minute, it unsettles the opponents.
