Vivid memories of quite a few but that midweek 3-2 win over Preston sticks out. The 2002/03 season we were champions of Div 1. A hard fought win were Merse & Steve Stone stood out & we sang a thank you to Graham Taylor who released both players to us from Villa.

Three of them for me going back to 1966. No memories of any of them to be honest.

the leeds game was the first for me, and as so often i seem to remember the hooliganism, the game that really sticks in my mind was the preston game, righty or wrongly my memory has it as a cracking knife edge match

Deacon, who started out with Arsenal has been with Stevenage and Crawley with the latter releasing him at the end of last season. Cookie will 'run the rule' over him in pre-season?
