2 from 4 - would that do?
'Pompey would win 2 from the 4 vital games against Hull, Wigan, Blackburn and Stoke', not my vote, yours - although these findings from PFCblue's poll are thoughts that I do, or at least did, agree with to be honest...
Of course we drew at Hull last weekend - this would have been one of the games I had down as a win though!
Wigan, well for me this now becomes a MUST WIN game and we need to go into this with a positive frame of mind and set out to do just that.
Blackburn and Stoke, both away, are going to be very tough but again if we go about this in the right way we could cause what would I guess could be considered 'an upset' in one, or both of these?
These games did not start well, a point ay Hull is better than nothing I guess but this only increases the pressure on us and like I say I would suggest that we must beat Wigan at Fratton now without doubt and pick up a point, minimum, at Blackburn and Stoke...
Before we move on what are your thoughts on what the last poll concluded? You know what to do, thoughts below please guys...

Lets hope we can start with a win against Stoke tonight but I doubt it will happen. To be honest, I'd prefer Pulis to be back in our dugout rather than the visitors!

I fear that if we don't get at least 2 wins and 2 draws we'll be on the way down. We're rapidly reaching the point where we'll be more dependent on the results of 3 other teams than our own results (if this makes sense).

Does tonight matter in our predicament? Three crucial players missing tonight (two carrying injuries though). Yes it would boost morale so might help. PUP

Five points adrift now .. if we don't start picking up some wins soon we are gonna need an awful lot of snookers come January ... Let's hope we can get some momentun tonight and take that into Saturday .. and beyond..

Wigan is a must win game, we have not got any points from home and we must make fratton park a hard place for any team to come and play at. The crowd will play a big part in doing that so we must get behind the team. The Blackburn and Stoke games are tough away fixtures but the teams are not unbeatable so draws or taking 3 points from one of them is still on the cards.
We simply must get points during these games to give us any chance of climbing out of the hole we have dug ourselves.

I fear we are doomed. Negative maybe but that's how I feel.
With teams like brum, wolves and burnley picking up valuable points. I keep saying to myself there are 3 teams in the division worse than us but starting to wonder if that is indeed the case.
Even with a change of manager, ( which I would like ) still feel we are looking to the heavens for miracles. Just can't see us getting any wins in our next 3 games. 2 draws and a loss is my prediction and as for tonight can only see a stke win. Look I hope I am so wrong but after Saturdays performance both team and manager then the writing is on the wall.

wigan at home won't be easy, they've been in good form recently & they know how to win at FP. Blackburn & Stoke away will be harder than Hull away so we must up our game a huge amount to get some points. Not that hopeful to be honest.

2 wins from 4 is better than our current form, so we would have to be happy with that ! its the odd draw here and there that would improve things. Stoke tonight will be difficult especially with the players that are cup tied! I'll be there tho PUP

even if we did get relegated, it wouldnt be the end of the world. Look on the bright side, i'm sure paul hart has a contingency plan

I'd be happy to get a couple of wins over the next two games! Not so bothered about the Carling Cup though, not sure a run in that competition is helpful. Of course a win is always nice, and morale boosting, but apart from that I'm not especially bothered this season.
