Diop return confirmed in strong reserve side

Diop return confirmed in strong reserve side

The Pompey Site has confirmed that Papa Bouba Diop will indeed be making his return from injury tonight when the reserves face Fulham at Westleigh Park, in a game that kicks-off at 7pm.

A strong side sees plenty of 1st team players involved with Mike Williamson, Jamie O'Hara, Angelos Basinas - this is your chance Angelos so prove yourself worthy of more 1st team involvement, Richard Hughes, Freddy P and Danny Webber all starting.

Trialist Cherno Samba is again in the squad with Apicerni the only name that I do not recall seeing before?

Pompey: O'Brien, Apicerni, Williamson, Wilkinson, Hurst; Basinas, Diop, Hughes, O'Hara; Piquionne, Webber

Subs: Bopp, Ryan, Walshe, Samba, Suric

Hopefully we will again be bringing you a full match report, although this depends on our roving reporter being able to do this for us?

fingers crossed they all come through without any problems - some more goals for Freddy P would do him good aswell...

yep, good luck to the kid - i hope he lives up to his potential as in the years ahead he 'could' have a big, big future!
begovic is next in line but the long-term future probably belongs to o'brien, would you agree?

Not sure who Apicerni is but sounds like he is from Italy

I assume he's a defender. So put Italian and Defender together normally a good combo :)
