Well I never, Lawro predicts a draw!
We have not visited the world of Mark Lawrenson for a while, the so-called BBC's 'expert pundit', so I thought why not eh...
Looking at his column on BBC Sport, Lawro's predictions - here, I saw that he had us down for a draw against Spurs this weekend, which was odd as I do not recall him having us down for many things other than defeats! Although in looking I also noticed he had us down for a 1-1 against Wolves, and we won.
So, this is what he said: 'I hope Harry Redknapp gets the reception he deserves at Portsmouth - and that is an extremely good one because of what he did for that club.
'He got them out of the Championship, brought in brilliant players (all of whom were sold for a profit) and won the FA Cup. He got out when he saw the writing on the wall and you can't blame him.
'I just hope a few mindless idiots don't ruin the day. On the pitch, I reckon Pompey will pick up a point - and it'll be a great help for Paul Hart to have Avram Grant's experience with him from now on.
'Verdict: 1-1'
I am glad that he remembered in the final throws of his speech that the game is about more than just this one man and we are involved too!

Quite frankly I think I would take a draw as a good result; with definite winnable games coming up we could have a good haul for the month. I don't have the vitriol against Harry that some numpties do, I always accepted he was a great manager and a compulsive liar, I want to see vocal not violent; just remember it can motivate the opposition as well, not that at least 3 of them and 1 of ours will need it. 1 point good: 3 points to us will mean a party! russ just because people still feel betrayed by the guy it does not make them 'numpties'... i do not think that anyone has/will deny that he did a fantastic job for us, but you cannot deny that he tarnished this not one, but twice by the nature of his departures...

Remember that Portsmouth FC is going down for this match with a different mentality; a new owner, after a good win and with a prospective number 2 in Avram Grant. Besides, our players, even if only 2 from the Harry era might play tomorrow will do their utmost to give us a win that will surely go down well with the fans.

Anyone notice the photo of Lawrenson beneath the photo of your club crest on the front page? Makes him look like he's got horns, like a bull. Which is quite apt, as the man is a professional spouter of bull*****!
