Liverpool kick-off time changed

Liverpool kick-off time changed

Just as I predicted a week or so ago, when other changes for TV were confirmed, Pompey's game against the bin dippers at Fratton has been altered so sky sports can show this game live - at least this is what their official site is saying...

Having looked on sky sports it does not say this has changed but that slot is available so it does seem like we have filled it, and to be fair you would not expect and official site to be wrong, would you?

It still takes place on Saturday 19th December but will now kick-off at 12.45pm instead of 3pm as advertised.

That's going to hit ticket sales isn't it! Interesting Sky have picked it up after they announced their TV fixtures a few days ago, whereas ESPN have yet to pick up any Pompey fixture.

Why do sky insist on putting our home games on, & last season when they showed away games they were in London thanks for nothing sky, well we have got Stoke away, a game I would have gone to, but now moved to 4pm Sunday so I won't be going to that one now. sorry gripe over for now

I like the 12.45 kick-offs at home, means there's more time to go out in the evening

My cousin might be coming down for the game but he'll probably arrive Friday evening so no problem.

Duo sign professional Pompey deals

Will Jez Bedford and Theo Widdrington be the future Pompey midfield? We'll certainly hope so, clearly the Blues do too or they wouldn't have signed professional deals at Fratton Park.

Nathan Thompson - A Swindon perspective

Prior to his departure for Wigan, Paul Cook wanted Nathan Thompson at Pompey. Interest was retained by Kenny Jackett, who completed his free transfer signing from Swindon last week.
