Seven of those games for me. The one I remember the best was 1970 when we went to Old Trafford in the League Cup and were unlucky to lose to a Bobby Charlton goal - now that ages me!!

Can't compete with Dave as I was about 4 at the time of that MU game. The 2-0 win at Fulham 2 years ago was live on sky, that run of away wins & then you thought we had the making of a very good time.

So long Smithy?

Having made it clear the arrival from Ipswich of (now captain) Pitman meant a forward could leave Fratton Park, Smith is seen as the odd one out in four for Pompey boss Jackett.
