Vital Pompey Award!

Vital Awards

The first award is player of the year. The nominations are as follow;

Linvoy Primus
Sean Davis
Pedro Mendes
D’Alessandro
Gary O’Neil
Matthew Taylor

The award will be sent to the player and we hope he will write a short thanks to everyone who voted for him.

The second award is the “Vital Contribution award. This will be the person who has most contributed to Vital Pompey in the last two and a half months (since I got here).

The third award goes to “Vital Newcomer. This award will be given to someone who has had a large contribution to the Vital Pompey site in the last month.

The fourth award is the “Vital Funny Forum Award” this will be given to the funniest post in the forum.

The fifth award is the “Vital Competition Post” award. This refers to the caption competition that we run on this site. I will give this award to the person with the best caption post.

The sixth and final presentation award will go to the Vital Pompey member who can write about his passion for his club the best. If you would like to enter send me a private message and I will send you the title of the article. I will collect all of the stories; post them and then other Pompey fans will vote on which fan shows most passion towards his club through their article. This is the “Les Matthews Award” and one I look forward too.

Another award is the goal of the year award which will also be a vote but the player won’t be presented with a reward.

I will be providing prizes from my own money, not all prizes will be fantastic but I would recommend you register today (if you haven’t already) as you can still win four of the five awards.

I would also like your nomination for article of the year and headline of the year. You can view all the headlines and articles in the news archive at the top of this page.

Don’t forget to let me know if you want to enter the “Les Matthews Award” and/or to tell your favourite article and headline. You can either; tell me at the bottom of this article, send me a private message or email me at lesmatthewspfc@hotmail.com.

Ow and don’t forget to vote on your player of the year.

Voted for Linvoy (surprise, surprise). One of the very few who, even through the cráp times with perrin, just got on with it and played football to the best of his ability, giving nothing less than 100%.

There are a few players for this award, Linvoy for his commitment. Taylor for holding his nerve for the penalty at home to Sunderland and for his goals. Lua Lua for his attacking ability and skill. But the one player that has improved the most game after game with his goals, commitment, skill and leadership is Gary O'Neil.
