Confidence well placed!
'Pompey would beat Wolves', not my vote, yours - although these findings from pompeyrug's poll are thoughts that I shared, and so this proved...
At times we were above the final 65% that we saw but I think it was fair to say that we had faith that we would beat Wolves, and beat Wolves we did.
We knew how crucial this game was, not just as it was against a relegation rival, but also because it would have been an even bigger pill to swallow had we gone into the international break with another defeat.
The win gives us great confidence going into this break ahead of the game with Spurs in a couple of weeks - bring 'em on!

I just watched Sky again and saw how the players reacted to Jamo's super save. I thought he was attacked by at first but you could jet see the adrenaline running through them. TBH's block, excellent, a clean sheet for the ddefence, all good news. Some real tough games coming up but that spirit could see us finish 5th or 6th from bottom and I'll take that today. Worst performance for 4 games but who cares we won and winning is a habit.
