Hart on Wolves win - woo hoo!

I am still up in the clouds at the moment after we finally picked up our first win - something the have deserved - of the season at Wolves today, of course we cannot, and will not go overboard though.

Paul Hart was a much more relaxed character when speaking after the game, talking about how we deserved this - and have deserved it, how we need to build on this as well as having plenty to say about the fans.

This video is well worth watching - like I say you see a more relaxed Hart, with more character as the pressure seems to be lifting off him. So, check out this sky sports video...

He finished by talking about SAF, and wished him well in his recovery but also said that 'good news in the next few days' should be coming about the club...

Well roll on Monday with the news
race
How was the atmosphere at the game Rug? sounded good on TV

it was good, i would say not as good as the last couple of games tbh - not quite, but still very good. i think there was alot of nervous energy as we knew how important it was... the reaction of fans, players and coaching staff after was amazing tho!

Talk about having the weight lifted off your shoulders! What a difference in Harty's demeanor?! And fair play to him! Well done to everyone on the playing side at PFC. A great day....let's have it continue against North London Shi'ite in 2 weeks. Play Up Pompey...and good riddance al-Fahim.

Forgot to mention...We've even picked up POSITIVE press attention! Even from that true bottom feeder of the gutter press, The Mirror!!! What a fickle world we live in?!

Releaved. James's reactions after the match showed how long we have waited for a win, and away from home. Was really happy to see a very strong back 5. Wilson seems to found his place on the team. Poor Williamson, he must have thought that he will be playing after the first few performances of Ben Haim.

I thought the atmosphere was fantastic. I was 20 minutes late for the match and had to walk round the outside of the stadium to get in. If I shut my eyes (they do have a lovely stadium) I could have been walking around FP, all I could hear was Play Up Pompey, Pompey Play Up. I immediately thought, Oh no, we must be down cos the fans are trying to rally the team, and then the ticket man said: Fancy being late AND when your team is winning. I couldn't belieeeeve it. Hardly heard the home side at all. In fact, I think our fans were telling them off for not supporting their team in one chant. The end particularly was really good, and I'm sooo glad I went. (Didn't think the team played particularly well though, looked a bit disjointed to me - mind you, I know nothing).

Great win away from home and well deserved. Onwards and Upwards.

Strong performance, if not great, and good too see Hart not pulling what is left of his hair out. On a lighter note, did anyone else notice that his tie has a mind of it's own around the 42 second mark. Looked like it was trying to get away from him.

I'm still not yet convinced Hart is the man for the job, it was very shaky at times, not a great performanceone and swallow and summer and all that; but I have crticised the manager for his tactics before and even yesterday I wasn't sure about OHara as a holding player but yesterday Hart put out 4,4,2 and we won so good on the boss, I hope that AL Farj gets us a new manager but lets allow Hart to enjoy this one. ( if any of you ever met summer at HCoT in the 80's she was all that- and yes she did !)
