Stoke ticket details - inc. season ticket discount

The Pompey Site has issued ticket details for our league cup game with Stoke at Fratton on Tuesday 27th October.

Tickets will cost £20 for adults, £10 for seniors and £5 for kids - although season ticket holders will get tickets at discounted costs... but for 1-week only!

CUT-PRICE STOKE TICKETS

Pompey's season ticket holders can take advantage of a very special offer for the Blues' Carling Cup clash against Stoke on Tuesday, October 27.

For one week only, they will be able to load the game onto their season cards for a special reduced price.

Between Monday, October 5 and Friday, October 9 they will be able to purchase their seat for just £15 for adults, £8 for senior/young person and £3 for juniors. There will also be no booking fee for tickets purchased online or by telephone during this period.

These prices will only be available for that week, season ticket holders who purchase outside of this period will be issued with paper tickets, charged at the full match prices (below).

Members will be able to load their cards on Monday, October 12 and Tuesday, October 13, before general sale commences on Wednesday, October 14.

Members who purchase outside of their exclusive period will be issued with paper tickets.
Full match prices (from October 12):

Adult £20
Senior £10
Junior £5

Tickets can be purchased by calling 0844 847 1898 (option one), online at www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/etickets or in person at the club's ticket office in Rodney Road.

Carling Cup Matches:

Season ticket holders who do not purchase the normal seat associated with their season ticket during the advertised priority booking period will not have their card automatically activated for the game.

Once the priority booking period has closed for season ticket holders, if they wish to attend a cup game they will need to purchase a ticket either in person at the ticket office, via the telephone (0844 847 1898) or via the web (www.eticketing.co.uk/portsmouth).

Priority booking dates for matches are clearly advertised on the club's official website.

As a well known supermarket would say 'every little helps' - so I will not turn my nose up at a £5 discount for a game I would be going to anyway...

The club seem to be picking their way through the minefield of discounts quite celeverly and I may be tempted to attend this one which I would not without the reduction.

Well done PFC

Not a lot for season ticket holders is it? After all the discounts for everybody else for all the games, you'd of thought half price would of been nearer the mark, after all these are the fans that are most likely to have gone anyway
paultsmouth
problem is with gates shared for cup games it makes it more difficult for discounts on these games really doesnt it? i am sure further discounts will come along this season - and i suspect further discounts for us next season? at least i would hope so or alot of season ticket holders will think 'sod that' and will not bother...

there is a thread in the forum about ways of getting people back to fratton - check it out and leave some views and ideas!

As a non season ticket holder, I'm not very pleased with the cut prices just for season ticket holders.
Pompeyfcmad
You lot are never happy! Great deal, well done PFC.
Battenberg
not sure what you are saying Pompeyfcmad? are you saying you are not happy that season ticket holders will get their tickets abit cheaper than non-season ticket holders, or are you saying that you do not feel the cut is enough for season ticket holders - and you say that even as a non-season ticket holder? if this makes sense - basically are you saying you are unhappy season ticket holders are getting tickets cheaper?

as it is, like i said in the article its a game i would be going to anyway, so to get it a fiver cheaper does me!
pompeyrug
I mean if I was a season ticket holder I would be chuffed but atleast it's not much of a price difference.
Pompeyfcmad
Unfortunately I can't take advantage of this as I'm working mights from Sunday to Wednesday night - bugger! If only it had been the following week. Unfortunately Mrs L is working too, though see may finish early enough to go.
Lemmi
Going on with what said, i feel its not that fair on people who cant afford season tickets. That they have to pay full price. But as i said before atleast its not much of a price difference. I dont no what i was going on about really lol.
PompeyFcMad
I don't know they can't win. When they reduce prices at certain games to £20 and introduce student rates, season ticket holders complain about having forked out a shed load of money. When they reduce the price of cup games to reward season ticket holders the others complain, even when they can go to PL games at just over half price.
Lemmi
Well done Pompey! I'll be there. Cut price tickets for non-season ticket holders for PL games TICK. Increased discount in shop for Season Ticket holders TICK. Cut price cup game for Season Ticket holders TICK. A move in the right direction and a pretty fair share of the spoils. Can't see what the complaints are about ? PUP

guys, it seems the fact that the tickets have been reduced down to £20 for everyone, from the start, seems like it is being missed? so ALL are getting a discount, us season ticket holders are getting extra on top, so all in all can anyone be unhappy at this? when you stop and think about it you cannot really can you...
pompeyrug
yh its good thats its cheaper then usual, i shouldnt of started moaning really.
PompeyFcMad
Slightly off topic but I'm really glad this game is at home. I would have gone if it was an away day fixture but I would have bought a nice cheery book to read whilst driving home :p
russellm
A great deal all round. Well done PFC.
