Blue Army marches on with a Wolves sell-out!

Blue Army marches on with a Wolves sell-out!

Earlier this week I wrote something titled March with the blue army to Molineux! - click here.

I am claiming this influenced anything, but this was about us taking a large number of fans to Molineux this weekend. Well, we certainly will be taking a large amount as The Pompey Site issued a 'Wolves sold out' statement this afternoon...

WOLVES SOLD OUT

Pompey will be travelling to Wolves with a full contingent of fans.

All of the Blues' allocation of tickets for the match at Molineux on Saturday, October 3 have been sold.

It means more than 1,500 supporters will be there to cheer on Paul Hart`s side as they seek their first points of the season.

Please note that this match is all-ticket. Do not travel if you have not purchased a ticket.

Supporters who have bought concession tickets are strongly advised to take proof of age identification to the game. Failure to do so may mean they will have to upgrade to the adult price or not be admitted into the ground.

This is fantastic news! If this 1500 plus can make the noise and offer the support that a much smaller number of us did at both Villa and Carlisle then we could bring the stadium down!

We just have to hope that the players respond to this, as we can now 'potentially' play an even bigger part in helping them to a much needed 3pts...

Bring on the Wolves!

First time to the Wolves! What's the best pub for a pre-match nerve-steadier? Cheers!

pompey.stilliams, we are trying to find a pub local to the ground, altho wolverhampton isnt the most 'welcoming' of places tbh... as soon as i get any ideas i will let people know, altho at the moment it is looking like most will go to west brom and drink there before moving on - watch this space...

And I think we at Vital Pompey have played a part in this sell out by Gandor threatening to go. Not sure whether all the fans wanted to see her in action or were just attempting to stop her going!

Raise the roof.

Away day Blues

We can be brilliant one game and then woeful the next...usually after we've won (usually pretty well) at home but then we lose away, as we did at Blackpool.

Vital View - League 2, 27th September

A lead at was extended by Plymouth with Blackpool recording a surprising win, talking of which Wycombe's five-one win against Crewe was certainly a 'surprising' win.

Match highlights - Blackpool 3-1 Pompey

The mystery that is Pompey and our dodgy away form continued with another defeat suffered at Blackpool, who hadn't won at home since the first game of the season before this 3-1 win.
