Boateng switching allegiance?

According to 'reports' on kick off.com Kevin-Prince Boateng is close to committing his international future to Ghana.

The Prince has been in fine form since his arrival from Spurs and this has alerted Ghana - although to be fair an interest in him is long standing, as far back as the last world cup. So the former German U21 is now set to pledge his international future to the African nation.

He will now be hoping to break into their squad, if not side, for the world cup next summer but more worryingly for us it looks like he could become another - with several already set to go missing - that will be off to the African nations in the New Year... Ghana have qualified right?

Also, does anyone know if Younes Kaboul committed to Morocco in the end? If so I guess we miss him as well as I would imagine they are another nation that will be playing at the African nations?

boeting will be up against the likes of muntari and essien for a place in midfield for ghana - so he won't be able to walk strait into the side!

Cameroon 4 2 1 1 4 2 +2 7 Gabon 4 2 0 2 6 5 +1 6 Togo 4 1 2 1 2 4 −2 5 Morocco 4 0 3 1 2 3 −1 3 i was wrong the top 3 in the group qualify for afican nations and morocco still have a chance.... so add kaboul to that list.

I was banging on about all the African signings and this is the reason why, just when we will be needing to push for safety our supposedly bedded in team will be sodding off, and clubs know from experience the Africans back off for a month before the comp starts; that's why I was moaning and the club have only themselves to blame

it's a shame but at least they'll gain further international skill - playing at a higher level and all, although we have the premier league..
