Stoke at home - I will take that!

Stoke at home - I will take that!

With all the build-up to the Everton game, and the reaction to this defeat, the fact that the league cup draw was made just ahead of this game has seen this missed somewhat...

Although I am sure that you are well aware of this by now, we drew Stoke at home - a draw that I must admit I am happy enough with as it keeps the league cup dream alive!

I have, maybe jokingly so, said to a few people that 'we will win the league cup this season', but I think we now have a 'decent' chance of making the quarter finals, and with the draw seeing some 'big guns' drawn against each other and other 'fancied teams' given tricky-ish draws you can never say never...

Stoke will probably one of the hardest ties actually, they have great home form ^ and have a great support. Also they have steel wielded into their team so will not even be ok to play against. This has 'tough' written all over it...

I can't see us veatinb the ladies team at the moment but we have had some luck with a home draw so maybe we can get sone luck with refereeing decisions and defenders and strikers score goals i.e. doing what they get paid for. I don't even mind if one lot do the other lots jobs as long as someone does some defending and someone does some scoring. This will be a tough match

I wish I could get to this, especially after the dubious 'handball' at their place last time round. Still with any luck we'll be in the next round.

Evans - Right back or right midfield?

Drew Talbot and Adam Buxton are fit but Gareth Evans continues to fill in at right back. Should this change? If so where would it leave the battle between Evans and Carl Baker?
