I don't know why but I have a sneaking position we might get something from this game so I have put a tenner on it; so far I'm £50 down

bugger not being able to see this from over here!!!!!! I am sure it was very positive (hmmmm). I have got my fingers and toes crossed, cos I have a villian coming to my house at 6.30am to watch this game, with a considerable amount of beer as a wager, please suprise me, please... pup

i am almost always positive about a game, but the closer it gets the more positive i become - usually...
at the end of the day, i do not go to football 'purely' because i want us to win all the time - if that was the case i would support another team, but you cannot change what is in your blood or heart can you! - but i do not go expecting us to lose, and i did not travel from devon - pompey last night to then travel from pompey - birmingham tomorrow 'accepting' defeat!

RUG - I used to be a little more positive....what am I saying....., I have always wanted our beloved team to do well, I try and be as positive as I can, but of late, I just dont feel the same, that said, of the couple of games that I have seen so far, we havent looked totally crap, and given some different decisions, we could easily have been on a couple of points by now, but I am certainly not confident of a win away to Villa (in fact I have already got the beer in that I am going to have to give to the smug ******** should the villians win). I will as always go into the game with an open mind, and I will spend the early hours screaming at my TV in the vain hope that my screams will be heard, and that they will make a difference. I am certainly not accepting defeat, and as long as this warm blood still courses through my veins I never will, pompey till I die, pup
