Snout - from Vital Bolton answers some questions ahead of the Pompey v Bolton game this weekend.
It is still early days I know, but how is your season is going so far? Clearly not so well - but is that a true reflection of things?
Yes we have continued where we left off last season with the dull uninspiring football Megson will be remembered for when he leaves the Reebok.
Bolton Fans are not keen on Gary Megson are they? Why is this?
You'd need an article or several to answer that one. In a nutshell, it's his relentless negativity. He sends teams out terrified of the opposition and fearful of retaining possession. Add in a few stats: One win in the last fourteen league games and that against a relegated side. Four wins in 2009. A failure to score in eighteen league games last season.
The more sensible supporters will give him credit for stabilising the club after the two Sam's had left it in a state, but surviving is the limit of his abilities.
Are the club treating the fans well, or are they fleecing you?
Season ticket prices have been frozen or reduced for the last four years. Under 21 Tickets are now £189 anywhere in the ground and kids £49 which in this day and age is outstanding value for money. Of course football in general is too expensive, but we've got it better than most.
Who do you think has been your best summer signing and why?
Too early to judge at the moment as we have yet to see them perform, hopefully Ivan Klasnic will live up to his billing as an excellent buy (loan).
Could you have done with more arrivals - if so in which areas and maybe even who?
We needed a creative midfielder - one with experience of playing at top level. Achille Emana would have done, but Real Betis weren't playing ball.
What are you expectations, or hopes for this season?
We hope for an improvement on last time. Getting to 50 points for the season would represent progress. We expect, at best, to grubbing about just above the relegation zone and at worst to be right in the thick of it.
What about Pompey, what do you think we should expect or hope for?
You should hope to stay in the Premier League. That's not being bitchy. You've had a massive amount of upheaval and we know from experience how damaging that can be. It's time to dig in and do whatever's necessary to retain your top flight status.
Who is the real danger man that Pompey need to watch?
Ha! If only we had one. Kevin Davies works hard. Ricardo Gardner's a handful, but he's injured. Tamir Cohen is a danger to himself and everyone on the pitch, but not in a good way. We're a bit light in attacking threats.
If you could take any Pompey player and put him in your squad who would it be and why?
I was very impressed with John Utaka when we played at Fratton Park a couple of years ago. He's got the sort of pace we need.
Is there anyone that you would like to send Pompey's way?
You can have Paul Robinson. We were delighted to get rid of Kevin Nolan. Now we've got another duffer in the number four shirt.
Tal Ben Haim - how good or bad is he? Chelski and Citeh fans think he is pretty bad!
Ben Haim was outstanding for Bolton, we were gutted to lose him. He's lost his way at Chelsea and City, for reasons unknown. Get him back to his best and you'll have a class player.
Go on, who's going to win the battle of the 'battle of the giants?'
It looks like a nailed on draw, which is no use to either side.
