Home kit to finally go on sale!

The Pompey Site has confirmed that the new home shirt will officially go on sale from Monday - and at a £5 discount until the end of the month as part of the launch.

With this not being on sale until now this has clearly cost the club a fair amount in revenue, something that we cannot afford to be losing.

More info on this, including prices, can be found below...

Pompey's 2009/10 home kit goes on sale from Monday, September 7.

The megastore in Rodney Road will be open from 7am-7pm on launch day, giving you plenty of time to get kitted out like your heroes.

09/10 launch offer prices (£5 saving on 2008/9 launch prices):
Adult short sleeve shirt: £34.99
Adult long sleeve shirt: £39.99
Women's shirt: £34.99
Kids shirt (11/12): £29.99
Kids shirt (9/10 and younger): £24.99
Offers expire on Wednesday, September 30.

Also available:
Adult shorts: £19.99
Kids shorts: £9.99
Adult socks: £9.99
Kids socks: £4.99

The new home kit will be available to buy online and in all Pompey stores.

Don't Care Rug! I fear the home kit has been losing some of its imagination and style over the last few seasons, starting from when they got the wrong blue!!! I will be investing in the new semi-retro away kit - hopefully not as tight as the Doctors!

Who needs style? It's a football shirt to wear while playing football, not a Paris or Milan fashion parade..

I have to say that this is not an exciting home shirt. Glad I opted to buy the away one, and am excited about seeing the 3rd kit as well. The black with thin blue lines looked really nice I thought.

I'm in a toss up which one to get first, it'll probably be the home. I quite like the home kit, as plain as it is, but prefer the away.

Sorry, find the word 'Jobsite' a strange one. I keep seeing dog****e. May buy other Pompey stuff instead.

Shame we can't get the TY logo back. It would fit well with the gaffer's name. Paul could have a massive ty logo on the back of his top.

If it was a Paris or Milan fashion parade & PH had a massive TY heart on his back, he would win an award, that's how sexy it would look. :D

I'm with storagematt, it looks like a s*itejob; you won't find that playing in Paris or Milan

I fancy the 3rd kit myself, much better design! Any ideas when it goes on sale guys?

Have to say, although it was the "wrong" blue for Pompey, it was a nicer blue for wearing - the Italian azzurro rather than royal blue. The away strip retro "My name is mick mellows" shirt is much more preferable.
