To be honest I watched this site for over a year before joining in the debate. In my view, having watched a number of "unofficial" fan sites, this place represents the most interesting debate without the usual abusing degradation of people's thoughts and ideas. High-brow it's not (it's Pompey Football club for God's sake) but it's fun, VERY informative and certainly helped me through a frustrating summer (better than any psychiatrist at any rate).

Having watched almost every match live (home and away) from the luxury of the stands last season, yep we are a bit lucky in Aus, I was not impressed with the way we played. In fact I think we showed more desire in the Man C game. If Mr Hart can get two strikers to work in tandem up front and not leave all the work to one guy who just gets crowded off the ball, we should do alright. Not top six but not bottom six either.

to be honest you look at our goal difference of -6 and it was all arsenal that did that. Apart from that two lucky goals at Brum and Fulham sunk us and Nugent's spectacular miss.

I don't even read Pompey Vital, never mind actually posting anything on it.
