Kilbey loaned to Dagenham

Kilbey loaned to Dagenham

The first, and almost certainly not the last, confirmed departure of the day is Tom Kilbey.

The Pompey Site has confirmed that the 18-year-old has joined the league two side for an initial 1-month loan spell - although I would expect this to be extended for longer to be honest.

Kilbey is a midfielder with an eye for a goal, who is also one of several players that are highly rated at Pompey, so this loan move will benefit all concerned.

Good luck Tom. Come back a stronger - and league two football will make you stronger - and hungrier player.

Kilbey is a cracking prospect .. Scored a hat-trick for the reserves at the end of the season (v West Brom I think) .. He's on a one year contract so I wouldn't expect him to stay any longer than a three months but agree that a month does even really ger him settled .. A good move though did Matt Ritchie a world of good last season
