11-20 for Pompey at Christmas...

11-20 for Pompey at Christmas...

'Pompey will have 11-20pts by Christmas', not my vote, yours - although these findings from bluedr's poll are thoughts that I tend to agree with to be honest...

As things currently stand - and as we appear to be going about a style of play - I really cannot see us having many more - if anymore - points than 20 by Christmas, we clearly need more than the minimum 11pts...

Somewhere around 20pts would not be the end of the world, but it would need to be as close to 20pts as possible, anything more and that would be a bonus.

I am not, and will not, throw in the towel. Yep, we still know it will be one hell of a tough season, which will get even tougher if we do not bring is some players over the next few days. SAF, you are now the owner so take some actions mate, oh and talk to the clubs fans please, and through The Pompey Site not Arabianbusiness.com...

  • What the poll asked - Number of points Pompey will have by Christmas?

  • How you voted - 11-20 45%, 0-10 33%, 21-30 16%, 41-54 4%, 31-40 2%

Before we move on what are your thoughts on what the last poll concluded? You know what to do, thoughts below please guys...

I still hold grave concerns for the season, Welcome Sully....I hope you start to let us feel the fibre of your fabric, sonner rather than, well when its too damn late. This takeover has been the worst few months for highs and lows since I have been a pompey fan (early 80's)maybe because of the press, who knows.....Anyway, the topic at hand... How many points???? I have a feeling its not going to be too many, with Distin going, we will loose our feel at the back, I cant see anyone any established players wanting to come here in the near future, it could be very scary, I would like to say 20 points, but in my heart I feel that could be a massive task, I think 15!!! We will see. The game againt Citeh is on sky over here on Sunday, I will get up at stupid o'clock to watch it, please at least give us a point!!!!!! PUP

Even 20pts would have us in the bottom 5, probably. Still believe we will need some 2nd half of the season great escape act!!!

closer too 20 would be good. If we don't start investing now, I don't beleive we will invest in january, and if we don't invest at all, we'll be lucky to have 11 points on the board!

Must be nearer 20 points but at the moment can't see them coming.

After what old twitchy features did with Spurs last season, to me the position we are in doesn't matter until at least Feb 2010, i think anyway.

I'm afraid, even though he is taking the Michael; TergeHauge possibly isn't far from the truth. i really don't see us getting many more than that. Last season If i'm right we had 23 and the season before 30, both with far superior squads.

Hopefully not the lowest ever in the Prem. but things are not looking good. The GD will also be shocking once we get to play the likes of Chelsea and Man Utd. The Carling Cup win mid-week was a no result for me. Ironically we could have had 2 pts on the board and an expected loss to Arsenal. A bad defeat to City coming up will leave us in tatters.
