SAF claims AAA Ltd are the new owners?

SAF claims AAA Ltd are the new owners?

SAF has 'claimed' that Al Fahim Asia Associates Ltd (AAA) are now officially the new owners of Pompey, or at least a statement from his spokesman on has...

UAE tycoon takes 100% control of Portsmouth FC.

The statement said: 'Devondale Investments, the current owner of Portsmouth FC, and Al Fahim Asia Associates Ltd. (AAA), a company fully owned by Sulaiman Al Fahim, Chairman of the Board of Portsmouth FC, have reached an agreement whereby AAA has become the new sole owner of the Club.

'Sulaiman Al Fahim welcomed this agreement and looks forward to helping the Club build on its impressive history and achieve new successes in the Premier League.

'The Chairman of the Club would like to extend his gratitude to the players, staff and supporters of Portsmouth FC who have shown an extraordinary level of commitment and loyalty to this great Club.'

This is all very well, which if true means that Peter Storrie's 'plan B' has failed, but lets hear something official from The Pompey Site.

Official news is what we need - no more messing around!

This sounds very dodgy to me I'm wondering if the deal has been done behind Storries back,by a man who, i suspect, does not have Pompeys best interests at heart

Well it is in The News, The Gaurdian, and CNN now. Not sure what to make of it as PS has been saying that money will become available in January through his deal? Come on Pompey what is going on.

agreed, Im underwhelmed.. this seems a but dodgy to me

It's like Dallas isn't it! All we need now is a Oil Baron's Ball and it'll be like TV in the seventies.

and meanwhile, Pompey's press office is full of swearing and sweating I expect

Whilst I am a bit underwhelmed at the news, nevertheless, we have been stabilised, I suppose. Definitely did not want Al ahim as our new owner, but Thursday was apparently the deadline for the Banks apparently, so beggars can't be choosers. I bet Peter Storrie is feeling a bit underwhelmed himself right now. Could this be the end for him at Pompey?
26/08/2009 14:18:00
Jackastorrie has been including SAF for a while so I guess he knew he couldn't do the deal without him. Also what makes yellowcheesemonkey suggest SAF doesn't have Pompey at hart; hart enough to put up £32million of cash up font to guarantee the debt Storrie ran up; still, yet more to come I suspect .

We Want the Truth!!!! We can handle the truth!

if its true then almost definatly gandor!

My concern here is that the "official site" has not been used to tell FANS the details first or indeed a "Press Conference" utilised as has been done in the past. Even the "Quay" official mouth piece of Pompey have nothing. If this is how the new owners do business, coupled with the last few months of ridicule, I feel no warm feeling inside that things are going to be improving ! ( I hope I'm wrong ). Also, hope Pompey do NOT get rid of PS, much maligned but undoubtedly has the clubs interest at heart.
