Pompey man of the match against Birmingham

'Aaron Mokoena was Pompey's man of the month against Birmingham', not my vote, yours - although these findings from pompeyrug's poll are thoughts that I would not have gone with, but then again at the same time could not entirely go against...

Not actually being at the game always makes it harder to judge. Seeing 'dodgy', as in quality wise, t'internet coverage and listening to the radio is not always easy, but from what I saw and heard I was going to give it to David James until his last minute, right or wrong, penalty against him.

So, I voted Marc Wilson, who seemed to have another good game - this time from right back.

But for 50% to have gone for Mokoena you would have to say, or at least hope, that they were right so congratulations to Mokoena who seems to be fitting in quite nicely and doing a job that is asked of him - if only he could think further forward...

  • What the poll asked - Man of the match against Birmingham?

  • How you voted - Mokoena 50%, Wilson 19%, James 11%, Distin 4%, Sub - Utaka (45) 4%, Kaboul 3%, Piquionne (79) 2%, Sub - Basinas (42) 2%, Mullins 2%, Vanden Borre (45) 1%, Belhadj 1%, Kranjcar 1%, Sub - Kanu (79) 0%, Diop (42) 0%

Before we move on what are your thoughts on what the last poll concluded? You know what to do, thoughts below please guys...

Vanden Borre 1%!! How!!! In all seriousness it sounds like he might not a wee bit of time to get used to the pace of the Prem...
