Storrie's consortium taking over? Or not...

There is nothing 'official' on The Pompey Site, or any quotes to back these claims up, but Arabianbusiness.com is 'claiming' that Peter Storrie's led consortium of investors is taking over Pompey?

EXCLUSIVE: New consortium takes over Portsmouth.

The report says that Storrie's group will take a majority share in the club with SAF taking the remaining stake, with SAF being the one that will guarantee the clubs debt.

Apparently, and most importantly it is said that Storrie and his crew will 'pour immediate funds into the club.'

Now lets see this become 'official' and see actions, and not words, take place...

UPDATE

The Arabianbusiness.com article has since been pulled, is this because there is no truth to it? Or is it because the club wanted to be the ones to officially announce it first?

All I know is that this 'might not necessarily be another false dawn', maybe watch this space this afternoon methinks...

When I know more, so will you but for now I need some air, where is that dog, walkies... Hopefully something can develop while I am out and then having lunch!

i wouldnt get too carried away - trying to find out what i can but have been told that article was being removed, as it now has...
when i find out anything, and have been told someone will try to call me this afternoon, i will let people know, what i can.

My mate in Dubai says Storrie is trying to put a short term consortium together to buy time whilst SAF guarantees loans but takes over eventually. my mate says Standard bank want their money not guarantees. Saf problem is his money is based on property which no one is buying; Storrie's problem is he has much stigma that follows him and he is not well regarded outside football. Lol maybe he would make a good banker

Peter Storrie to make up the lies, and Fred Dinenage to report them on Meridian Tonight. I'd welcome that, if it means an end too all this SAF pulling out rubbish. "Signed by the end of the week" - So it will be finished just before the opening race at London 2012.

Storrie is so stupid that if he had a consortium he would probably try to buy Crouch and Defoe for £40m, offer Sol Campbell £150k a week, try to buy Johnson for £25m and get Ronaldo to come on a free so he could be by the seaside!!!
