'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Well said that man!

Even before Aaron Mokoena had kicked a ball for Pompey he was getting stick, granted initially I was as bad as most, but I think his opening displays against Benfica - to a degree, but certainly Rangers and Fulham at the weekend suggest that he has 'what we need' this season.

Like I say these performances have been encouraging, but it is his off the field actions that have today impressed me - he has said that the takeover talk should not be a distraction and cannot be used as an excuse.

Players get paid to do a job, and get paid handsomely to do so, so until they fail to be paid lets see them do what is asked of them - well done, and said, Mokoena!

One way to earn the respect of Pompey fans is to give 100% every week, signs are he will do that and another way is to say the right things, and so far so good...

I have always said that Mokoena will be an important player for us. He is a leader by nature, and he is showing character here at Pompey already.

Proper proffessional attitude; I'm tired of listening to those poor old worried players with their houses and cars paid for; they have it tough. Well said Moko !
