Pompey will stay up!

'With the current squad that Pompey have, plus a player or two, we will stay up because there are worse teams than us', not my vote, yours - although these findings from pompeyrug's poll are thoughts that I agree with...

We clearly need something more in the attacking end of the pitch, be that a player to play alongside Freddy P regularly in a 4-4-2 or better quality wide players that will link up with the striker and create chances in a 4-5-1.

The squad is very thin, that much is obvious, but with luck with injuries and/or suspensions we still have enough quality, and quality that 'should' be better than at least 3 other sides - bearing in mind 17th would be enough!

  • How you voted - Yep, there are at least 3 worse than us 66%, Nope, not enough quality or depth 23%, I really do not know... 11%

    I hope you are right rug, we need to get those first points on the board but may have to wait a couple of weeks before that happens.

    We aren't implicated in the Defoe transfer? I thought he acted as his own agent which he is allowed to do. The dispute is between Defoe and Sky Andrews; not our problem; could be a spurs problem
