Have i missed something..are we really getting excited by signing a 30 year old forward who has failed in the french league...?and is rated as a 5 on Sky web... Well I hope I am wrong but this just smacks of absolute desperation I am afraid...obviously no one else wants him and the french club get him off their wage bill....It seems to me that its about getting bodies in..anybodies...nobodies...somebodies. I'm sorry but i realy refuse to have Blind faith in this, pleae lets be real about it. Of course it does not mean we wont cheer them on etc...or chant their name..but lets not kid ourselve either..this is a 3rd rate signing at the very best..i doubt many championship sides would take him on the wages he will expect..its a flaming joke, and i am not laughing saying that I am glad he has signed because we are short on players and when we sell Nuge, distan and Krankie we will player... and he may well surprise us...but he won't ..will he? you know and i know it...and everyone else knows it Can any body honestly name a full 11 of good signings from the french league..by that i mean players who have gone on to serve their respective english clubs with distiction...of coiurse their has been Eric and David G...( i do mean not french players from italian teams,or other leagues) i doubt it and this one is both too old and not good enough it seems...1 cap...we seen how effective players with 1 cap can be....

i think its to early to get excited over a player who cant make it in the french league look at what happened to utaka an he was supposed to be good

if he got in the france squad two years ago he must have something about him . with the likes of henry,anelka,bezman,etc his competion

i dont think Benji is a good striker..and as for getting one cap against the Henri's etc..it was a friendly..just like Nuge's cap, another not very good striker..i have to sat hussslers selection looks good..did he add Lassie aswell?
