Bopp 'til you drop...
'Eugen Bopp score in the premier league? Not for Pompey as we will not sign him', not my vote, yours - although these findings from nodster's poll, rather tongue in cheek, are thoughts that I do agree with to be honest...
It would appear that Bopp will be given a further chance to impress as he is in Portugal, along with Fabrice Pancrate, Modeste M'Bami and Yassin Moutaouakil, with the squad - this, as I and others have said before, I have no objection to, but he is very much in the last chance saloon to impress, as impress is not something he has really done as yet to be honest...
Do we think Bopp will sign?
According to this poll no, and unless we really are scraping, and I mean scraping, the bottom of the barrel - or he of course comes good against higher quality opposition - we are not going to sign him so scoring a premier league goal is not something he will score for Pompey!

I agree with your comment on the forum Rug... he's not Prem class so he's never going to score a prem goal, let alone for Pompey. And as I've said before, we've got Diop, MOkoena, Basinas, Hughes, Mullins in midfield, why any more... unless it's quality/ youth like Gakpe in which case we lose one of the others *cough*mullins*cough*

unless bopp has a blinder in portugal i should think the final we will be hearing about him and pompey will be the news that 'he has not been offered a contract', which unless he does some spectacular this weekend its gonig to be 'so long!'

I think our Mid is lacking in creativity, I know Crunchy can be awesome on his day, but we'll need him at his best ALL season if we want to have any kind of attacking presents! Dunno about this Bopp, looks like he's only around as Hart kinda likes him from back in the day..not a good enough excuse I'm afraid....I'd trade the wife to get Zaki in!
