'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Vital Pompey Shop

Vital Pompey is embarking on a new venture; we are opening our own Vital Pompey Shop! www.vfootystores.co.uk/portsmouth.

This is something that has been in the pipeline for weeks, but we decided to hang fire for the time being, but you cannot wait forever.

Initially we will be selling t-shirts, which will be designed by us for us, that is not anything new really is it as we have done this before - there will be some ground rules that must be followed though...

These t-shirts be professionally printed and delivered to you door at a price of 9 per t-shirt plus p&p, which will be 2.20 regardless of your location. 50p from the sale of each t-shirt will be donated to the charity that we, as a collective, agree on - we will be looking for suggestions as to who we want this money to go to, we were thinking either Linvoy's or Kanu's charities?

What charity should the Vital Pompey Shop donate to? - click here.

One design that will definitely be included in the Vital Pompey Shop will be this design from Squee, the winning design from our last 'design a Vital Pompey t-shirt competition'.

Some examples of designs created for other clubs can be found at www.vfootystores.co.uk/vfsuperstore/superstore, a couple of which will be included in our shop as well.

So, all that is needed now is for people to design t-shirts but make sure that you are not breaching any copyrights with images.

I must make it clear that we cannot use images of Fratton, the players or the Pompey crest. I have tried to get us permission to use these copyright free, but unfortunately I have come up dry, for now - that is not to say that cartoon images that we have drawn cannot be used, but make sure the kit is just blue shirt, white shorts and red socks with no crests...

Also make sure your designs are done on a high resolution, 300dpi or 300 inches/pixels, as the better quality design we forward the better quality of the shirt. But please reduce the resolution quality for a copy that you add to this site - just make sure you have a high quality original design saved to your computer.

All that is needed now is for you to get creative!

I reckon we should donate to one of the players' charities of choice. Perhaps Linvoy's charity?
PFCGino
I agree with Gino. What could be more appropriate than donating to Faith & Football, given that Linvoy is their patron?

"Hullo I'd like to buy a tee shirt and some strikers please but I haven't got any money" " ah mr storrie we've been expecting you"
russellm
I like Squee's design a lot - its clever - but I think I would prefer it as shown with the blue t-shirt and white lettering.
tracyc
How about a 'David Nugent Appreciation Society' t-shirt?
The Rabbi
I agree with supporting Linvoy's charity.
hammersmithblue
100% behind Linvoy's charity too. By the way, will these tee-shirts be made by Canterbury?? If so, can we pay upon receipt please!
Pompeytim
Yeah...I agree with tracyc, the design is really cool but it just wouldn't look as good on a white shirt. It really stands out on the blue shirt.
cornypomp
to confirm that t-shirt will be as shown above - and is now in the shop ready to purchase!
