is mokoena playing in this squad?
The player I want to see most is Bhasera, the left back trialist who had a great half at Havant
Thanks for that. I didn't know what I was gonna do today but now you've reminded me I think i'll listen to the game!
bopp and pappa boopa diop in the centre hahahh
i thought the management and that were saying as soon as takeover complete their will be players signed instantley .... 4 days now isnt it .. where are they..
Just tuned in .. Any score or anybody know the team.. Diop, Dopp, Kaboul, Nugent and Kranjcar and Bhasera playing I've heard..
Begovic, Wilson, Ordell, Distin, M'bami, Pincrate all playing, Kaboul not playing as he is stuck in traffic. Not much to report, Basinstoke hit the post, that was probably the best chance in the first half hour.
Cheers Frippy.. I've updated the article with the team ... Kaboul stuck in traffic? ... good planning Janice !
Nugent falls over his own feet .. nothing changed then .. Ah I love Pompey ..
I bet Rug is wondering why he made the trip all the way from Devon.. I just hope he hits the town tonight.. Basingstoke is the hotbed of ... boredom .. apparently..
Kalinic signed four-year deal. Contract believed to be worth 1.2 million per year (4 year deal). 6.5 million euros is transfer fee. Confirmed by Ralph N'Kono he also added that Peter Storrie will confirm everything next week, whatever that means :)
Turns out I've been pronouncing Bopp's first name wrong, Oi-gen, not u-jeen.
Who is Ralph N'Kono?
Kamal Indinguh a young Nigerian (17) is also set to sign apparently .. recommended by Kanu ..
Dunno i never heard of him. But the newspapers say he is Portsmouth's representative for Europe and Africa.
That is the second place I've heard that Chix, it must be true! Got an awesome throw on him apparently.
Who Kamal Indinguh ? Kranjcar19 .. I've been looking for details on him but can't find out anything but a few people have mentioned his name to me
I've heard that too Frippy.. Apparently can hit the opposing penalty area from anywhere on the pitch .. makes Delap look like an amateur apparently !
0-0 at Half Time .. No changes for the second half.
And, to top it all off, his name is a Googlewhack, which leads straight back to Vital Forum's.
Oh yes there is Ashdown is in goal for the second half
What's a googlewhack ?
Gonna be a couple of goals in this second half if it carries on like this. Kranjcar missed a sitter and Basingstoke hit the bar.
Googlewhack - Two words put into google that yield only one search result... Technically Kamal Indinguh doesn't count as they're not real words found on
Lost connection briefly and now we have made 10 outfield changes. Sounds like a lot of youngsters.
Main article updated with the team changes Frippy.. Doesn't sound that inspiring does it ..
Re. Kamal Indinguh just proves that the guy is an enigma .. can't wait to see him.. He's going on tour to Portugal apparently..
0-0 on 79 minutes.. zzzzzzzz
Right game over 0-0 .. In the words of Paul Hart (from last season) "At least we didn't lose"... Right I'm off to Salisbury Races to make my fortune ... Maybe I'll bump into somebody who has heard of Kamal Indinguh This guy sounds wonderful
That was painful, but look on the bright side, we are not Newcastle, they just lost 6-1 to Leyton Orient.
so bad...
It did sound awful, but it was mainly triallists we've never heard of and its purpose is to give the players a workout, so lets not get too depressed about it. I'm sure there's new players coming in soon. By the way Hussler, takeover isn't complete yet, SAF has just purchased a place on the board. I think he's waiting for more investors.
Yes, Eugen. Prinz Eugen was a WWII German battle cruiser named after some prince of Savoy. I had an Airfix model of it when I was 8. And BTW, that game sounded rubbish - I'm going down the bookies with a tenner, me.
Looked like however we were supposed to de set up it was 4,5,1 the way we played; negative for a friendly; this performance doesn't bode well at all
Paul Hart just doesn't have a clue. I am willing to put money on that on 1st December 2009 he will be sat at home on!
In fairness... do we have enough strikers at the moment to field 4-4-2? Utaka's still on holiday so apart from Nugent all we have left is trialists.
Its official Portsmouth have signed Nikola Kalinic for 6.5 million Euros and 1.2 million salary yearly
I'm sure Paul Hart was playing for a 0-0, so job well done.
Any source for that Andy?
PompeyFrippy i think the above is the address of the reports Krajcar19 has been reading about "our new striker" Dont quite understand the bit about sailors..must mean salery . Mind you Pompey would be a good place to work if he likes sailors
plymouth graham
I think Basingstoke are going to have a great season.
