New Away Kit - Available to Pre-Order

Having just checked my email I was greeted with a pro-mail, I guess shortening promotional and email gives you 'pro-mail', which was offering me the chance to pre-order the new away kit.

So, Hayden Mullins is the face of Pompey this season, eh? I guess he is one person we can count on sticking around if nothing else!

I must say that I like it, bit I am not sure if I will buy it though to be honest? To see more or to pre-order - click here.

This was the home kit when I firts saw Pompey in the early/mid 70s. Still think the sponsors name will put a lot of fans off. Of course you always get the retro kit, without the sponsor on it!!!

Exactly what I think hussler the blues just don't match.. An alterative is the original 72/73 which is available from TOFFS I'm sure and comes with the badge on the right side and without a sponsor.. although a name on the back probably isn't an option.

Yep It is there .... £34.99 + £5 for any name & £5 for a number .. How does that compare... Probably a better option for those over 40 who remember it !.. They have even got the 72/73 away kit .. the same but in red with white stripes..

I really like it, best away kit since the gold kit of the promotion season. I know that one was not to everybodys liking, but I really liked that one.

I'm not very impressed by it really - maybe it'll grow on me. I'm waiting to see the 3rd kit before I decide if/what to buy one. If you order the shirts on line though you an only have up to 5 letters on the back. HREID KRANJ BASINA . . .

I really like this one... I will get it. Do not really like the sponsor, but, that is what we have.

It is pleasing on the eye... just a shame the memories of this shirt for this 47 year old, are paying a lot of money for Peter Marinello who was a waste, Mortimer as Manager and Deacon as chairman, Bankrupsy, Power Cuts, Two Relegations, Sunday afternoon game with at Swindon with just a sheet of paper as a programme. Pompey fans from one part of the city regularly scrapping with other Pompey fans from another area up the old Fratton End,- a bit tough for me and Deano Warwick with us coming from the north Hampshire villages of Longparish and Overton.. then all the Bovverboys joining together to fight the police- because we were playing Port Vale who brought no Boot Boy fans to scrap. Oh, and countless bouts of aggro at Swindon Oxford and Reading. Scary days. The positive however were Peter Ellis, Ian St John, Paul Went, and the Headline “My Goodness Mc Guinness” beating first division Birminham away in FA cup replay I think… but we were POOR, POOR POOR…the worst of all periods Musically there were some great music around Early Roxy with ENO, Bowie, Van Morrison in his Pomp, Dark side of the Moon, Lou Reed, Roy Harper…and ( as the old adverts used to say-“…And many many more” My Mum knitted me a tank top with the vertical blue stripes that I would wear to games….No replica shirts in those days

Lol - Mullins! I've got to say he's growing on me. He looks more depressed about the season than I am. I might get the kit (with Mullins on the back)

Agree with plymouth graham - this strip reminds me of too many Pompey failures that we endured in the early/mid 70's in Deacon's early 'splash the cash' days (well worth reading Marinello's biography to hear of cash given in brown paper bag to Ron Davies!). As a new away strip its fine however - better than that unattractive white and light blue version that they hardly wore last season despite the stupid decision to launch it at the last game of the season against Fulham in 2008. Delighted that home strip is back to blue, white and red - I justed hated the all blue.
