Away Goals - Euro Chimes: Portuguese Railways

Some extra information from Ken, from the Football Supporters Federation (FSF) and the writer of Away Goals - Euro Chimes, on how helpful the Portuguese railways have been in providing extra trains from Guimarăes to Porto.

Portuguese Railways Fan Friendly Again

Once again the Portuguese Railways have responded to pleas from the FSF to help Pompey fans staying in Porto for the Guimaraes Trophy.

With no 'authority figures' travelling to Portugal for this three-way tournament and the last scheduled train due to leave Guimaraes during the second half, the FSF, as before, went straight to the top at CP (Comboios de Portugal) and again they have proved helpful.

They are putting an extra service at 00.40 from Guimaraes, arriving at central Porto at 1.50am each night of the tournament.

You can help by letting us know if you are travelling back to Porto after any of the games so that we can attempt a guess at numbers.
