It might seem bleak but come on!

'I'm putting £100 on Pompey to be relegated this season', not my vote, yours - although these findings from The Rabbi's poll, whilst thoughts I can see why people might have gone that way, I cannot and will not think that way myself - I never have before, so I never will now...

Yep, I have 'feared' relegation from the premier league before, but never genuinely believed that Pompey would from it anytime over the past 6 or 7-years, so why am I going to start now?

Like I say I can see, given what we currently have as a squad, why people 'might' think this, it will be a long hard season but surely outsiders would be the ones seriously banking on us to go down, right?

Why would any Pompey fan want to be saying they 'would' put £100 on us to go down, bloody hell, how defeatist is that!

I tell you what, those that seriously think this way why not give me the money; I'll donate to charity! That way your money is not wasted...

Once again I feel, although unfortunately from what has been read across t'internet recently this time not exclusively, that this poll has again been subject to outside interference - for what it is worth, how did I feel the takeover could best be described?

How you voted - I'm putting £100 on us to be relegated 36%, Typical Pompey 28%, A shambles 7%, What takeover? 5%, Perfect preparation for the Championship 4%, I laughed at the Scummers and now wish I hadn't 4%, We'll go on to win the premiership 4%, I wish I hadn't bought my season ticket 3%, I'm too excited about Mokoena to comment 3%, Just think of all those exciting transfer deals 2%, I'd rather not think about it 2%, Fahim doesn't really exist but I do believe in UFO 1%, I now support Havant & Waterlooville 1%, The blind leading the blind 0%

These polls are a joke and should be stopped. They are hi-jacked by other Vital sites for fun and all that happens is that it gives a bad impression of Vital Pompey members to the rest of the Pompey supporting community - There's no way Vital Pompey members whould have voted this way. If I'm wrong prove it by admitting below that you voted this way .. I bet I don't get one taker. Rug I seriously think these polls damage the image of Vital Pompey .. or an I over re-acting ?

nope, i agree, i have said - and hinted - several times that i feel that some of the voting is being done to discredit vital pompey but clearly alot of this is also done by outside parties...
we cannot stop doing them, but, and as most would have noticed - i have started doing polls for things that are going to be used as features in the forum where only registered members can vote and you just get the one vote...
tbh i could believe some pompey fans voting that way, ive seen and heard things that would make me think people would vote that way, but in my honest thinking i would say most on here would have gone 'typical pompey'

a large, and i mean a large pinch of salt is needed with this, and most polls.

I might bet on Pompey being relegated if i wasn't a pompey fan, because it does look bleak, very bleak indeed, especially as SAF looks less creditable as time goes on, and the press-all the press- keep banging on and on about him and `hydra and taksin and lack of money and deals being blocked and him being....FAT.....fake sheik comedy sheik, genie in the lamp-excuse me a minute aren't these last comments racially based and used in a derogatory fashion? that would constitute racism...I knew they were all spurs fans.

Chix - I voted on the £100 for Pompey to be relegated in an outburst of anger that I was feeling at the time! If we did get relegated, which still do not see as a bad thing as I have mentioned many times before then at least I wouldn't be so unhappy with all the dosh I could put towards a season ticket!

May be polls like this should be kept to the forum, then we see a true picture. Any Pompey wanting to profit from the possibility of us going down needs shooting.

Even in are bleak situation i can see at least 3 teams that are worse than the one we fielded against Havant & Waterlooville....

I have to be Honest..I feel apprehensive, and have a real worry that Pompey fans are being Mugged off by SAF and Uncle Peter. I will not have BLIND FAITH,in a BUSINESS, that i have NO INVESTMENT. but i will always be a Pompey fan as the club has been a part of most of my life. Ive been ripped off both financially and spiritually in my 47 yeras and can sympathize with the HYDRA investors, and i suspect this Blog site that Chix regularly has to discredit is written by one of those investors. I am also fed up withthe press and their gleeful snide remarks about any pertaining to Pompey's difficulties, ground, size, training facilities size of Strorries wages and tax evasion etc However, none of these things are within our power to change, but we should not allow our love of the club to cloud the issues and should keep an open ind. Imagine it was Hull City or ...Newcastle Utd who these type of press reports..we would be concerned fort heir fans. My mate at work-a Chelsea/chesterfield fan always comments how "Dodgy" SAF appears. Is he a victim of a press bullying.scapegoating spree, or is there a case of "no smoke without Fire." Lets not be mugged...

Oh how I'm waiting for the season to start, so that we can comment on the pitch action instead of what's supposed to be going on in the boardroom. Depending on our league position in Dec/Jan that'll be the time we can really stand back and make an assessment.

I voted perfect preparation for the championship because thats how i felt at the time. I'm feeling a little more optimistic now but still think it'll be a long hard season.

I have an issue with this poll because all the possible answers were negative - there wasn't even one along the lines of 'keep the faith, it'll happen' so how were we going to get a positive outcome? For the record I voted 'i wish i hadn't laughed at the scummers' I was tempted to vote 'I now support H&W' but then I do as well anyway. We need positivity, we need lots of it for the start of the season - to help lift the club and help take it forward. And that means you too Graham!
