So, which one is it?

So, which one is it?

You have to laugh, come on guys, if we did not we would cry right?

It has been one thing after another in recent months, on the whole - despite moments in between - years and years but if we gave in were would that leave us? I think most would be on that edge looking over!

The destination of Peter Crouch - which still appears to be away from Pompey is another unwanted source of 'rumour' and 'speculation', particularly at this time - is anyone's guess.

And 'guess' is what I think is a fair summary of what most papers are doing!

Sunderland are signing him...
Nope they are not as Fulham are signing him...
Oh, hang on Fat Sam is going to blow his load and take him to Blackburn...

'Reports' coming out of Spain, linking him with Blackburn, are apparently saying that Crouch wants to leave as he is fed up with playing as a lone striker - fair enough, I am fed up with him playing as a lone striker too, but unless he knows something that very few others do who is to say he would do that again here this season? Besides, would he be any less unlikely to do this under Fat Sam...

In all honesty I am fed up with the 'reports about him leaving'.

That said, as far as I am concerned, despite things currently looking far from rosy player wise, my attitude remains the same if any player wants to leave - whoever it is, and no matter how much I rate them - show them the door. I never had him pegged as one of these people, but if he is then someone needs to fetch his coat!

Although, at the same time, the last thing we want is for the club to be looking to cash-in at the moment...

As it happen, it is still heavily in favour that the England man will leave, although I am today told that we are no further forward than we were the other day, no offer had been accepted up to and including this morning - offers have been made, and it is still thought that could will leave, but no one is making this happen...

Although the BBC is now 'reporting' that he is in talks with Sunderland, and the BBC is usually pretty accurate, right?

Sad, sad times. We're selling to the clubs we're meant to be beating. Even if Dr SAF has money it'll take a lot to recruit and settle a team in time for the new season.

Not sure he wants to settle up north, bleedin' bleak up there!!! Still be gutted if we lost him, irrespective whether it was Sunderland or Fulham. We should be building a team not tearing it apart!!!

Surely Dr SAF should have something to say about these sales? I mean, he is buying the club with these 'quality' players like Crouch, and they are being sold before he takes over. Jeez, before long, all our best players will be gone, and Dr SAF will offer 29p for the club! Sort it out - I mean, if this is all true.. Sad sad times, dispite the brightness appearing over the horizon.

There will be people lined up to replace Crouch, otherwise I doubt we would sell him.

Dr SAF has a price, it obviously isn't the same as sasha's also Crouch fell out with Storrie and like D'Allesandro that normally means the end of a blue shirt

well the BBC seem to think we have accepted a £12 bid but crouchy's got to be worth more than that IF we were gonan sell him right? i dunno £12 just seems a stupidly low amount to let arguably our best player go for.... =/

I just don't know what to say. If we sell Crouch it may be Sasha trying to counteract any brinkmanship from Al Fahim. Al Fahim knows that Sasha needs to sell before the South African loan is due for repayment. If Sasha sells more players the club will be able to meet those payments and hence not held to ransom. Worrying times really. Sasha clearly doesn't care anymore, other than selling a Premier League club. If he doesn't hurry up and sell then he won't have a Premier League club to sell.

A win at Wimbledon made sure of a play-offs place. Technically we can finish in the top 3 but this would require an unlikely set of results from too many clubs wouldn't it?
